Kristian tells the adventure of the SeiOttavi at X Factor

Wow! 9weeks, who could expect that much?? Well, it was hard to leave just next to the end, but beginning we were sure we would have last much less... Yeah! The beginning. Officially the 10th of march, but actually the whole thing began with the phonecall we received the 2 february.
Ready for the first audition in 3 days. We spent three days in Milan, three glorious days ended in front of the three judges performing our master piece "Spiderman"... YOU CAUGHT US IN YOUR WEB". "C'EST GENIAL". "VERY PLEASANT VERY GOOD SINGERS". YES YES YES. We got it !! GO GO GO.
That's the right word; go... back home quickly on a cab straight to the airport. A brief relax before the three days Boot Camp back in Milan with our tutor Morgan and our vocal coach Gaudi. If there is something we really must to point out is the lenght of these audition... exhausting...
Day by day it was always better, we got in a beautiful feeling with Morgan who really enjoyed our work. Once again we got it. We're in the show. After the confirmation we were just astonished each one of us ran out the theater to call parents and friend crying for such an emotion. It's the 21 feb and in 5 days we're going to start this adventure. We were told to show up the 26 feb. Here we are then ready to start and to prepare the first night show. In these days everything is new, strange, different... First time at the C.P.M. the music school where we were used to go, first time the studios, first time photos and shootings and first time a stylist just for us. We were just dreaming!!! Some of those dreams crushed against a shopping centre where we buyed our own shoes for the night show... 26,90 euro of plastic and rubber combined together to make a shoe... Only showbiz could allow such an awful thing. The ladies had a better destiny, even if they had to struggle for their own style... WOMEN... Anyway it doesn't really matter, our mission is to sing and we did it, always better show after show. Standing behind the led wall before entering the arena and facing the three judges was an emotion that we'll never forget and so hard to describe. Pure adrenaline. We were great with our Mary Poppins Medley, the audience at the theater started to clap while performing... ABSOLUTELY PHHHENNOMENALLLL!!! (It's not an error there's a reason for that..) We never expected to be locked and stocked in that loft without mobiles, internet, television in a word cast away. To think at it now makes the whole thing more emotioning and adventurous, but believe we really had hard moments each one of us. The atmosphere within the housewas incredubly friendly and relaxed. There wasn't any trace of envy, fighting or hard competition. Dante,Antonio Marino, Annalisa, 4SOUND, FM, ARAM QUARTET... unknown names at the beginnig names of friends now... Every week we we're all hoping for ourselves to stay in, but at the same time hoping for everyone to stay... something impoossible and for this reason so hard to accept. We'll never forget all these emotions we felt in the house and we'll jealously keep them deep in ourselves as one of the greatest experieces of our lives. The greatest thing we carry out X Factor is friendship with many wonderful persons such as Gaudi, Morgan, the technicians, operators, taylors, make up artisis, all the guys and dolls of the prime time and day time. Mara Maionchi and every one who spent those incredible three months that now are certainly building a new era for the Sei Ottavi... It's just the begin...
Cheers mates:-)))))

The SeiOttavi attend the Solevoci Camp in Cortina D'Ampezzo

The SeiOttavi attended to the Solevoci Camp in Cortina d'Ampezzo. During the week dedicated to vocal music they met the Swingle Singers and participated to their workshop. The time spent with the English group has been really enthusiastic. The Swingle Singers appreciated the SeiOttavi's work and gave very good advices on how to succeed. Also the other classes of the week were of great interest. The SeiOttavi took lessons from accreditated teachers like Matthias Becker, Andrea Rodini, Raffaella Misiti, Claudio Fabro, Marco Vallin, Alessandro Cadario and Fausto Caravati. (photo album)
